[ Tue 29th Sep ] v Kings Langley FC, KO 7:45pm SL1DC AWAY
Re: [ Tue 29th Sep ] v Kings Langley FC, KO 7:45pm SL1DC AWAY
It appears the Southern League have made a rather more rapid decision about a game needing to be replayed - http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/ware/news ... 46602.html (although almost two months for that decision still seems far too long).
The original match report is here - http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/ware/team ... /1-1609000 - it looks like the Ware keeper knew the rules better than the officials!

They just make themselves look even bigger mugs than they are by delaying things further! I feel they are waiting until they see what maximum damage they can do !!
They proved themselves to be clowns over the no 1 shirt fiasco - this just proves it eh?
There is no reason why a decision can't be made now, or why they can't release a statement saying why it is taking so long !!

Decision made on the Kings Langley game too - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/kings-langle ... ision-made
Perhaps the Southern League decisions are made by Santa Claus, and he was too busy before Christmas to make any rulings.....

Decision made: the result stands (subject to a 28 day appeal period)

Common sense, so why take more than 3 months to decide this?Rushdenjim wrote:Decision made: the result stands (subject to a 28 day appeal period)
Can't see any grounds for appeal from anyone.

So then, what we all thought should and would happen took them months to decide !! I can only presume that following so swiftly after the Ware decision that all important decisions the SL need to make are made at the SL new year piss up !!
Any official news on action taken against the clubs in question? I'm presuming fines were handed out?
Common sense prevails at last about the result - let us pray they appoint a strong referee for when we play them at the Dog and Duck !!

With current points/games the decision would put Egham in top place, above us, on GD if they won games in hand.

Lots of twists and turns in this league to come - those that hold their nerve when things go against them are the ones that will be there or there abouts come April !!sussexdiamond wrote:With current points/games the decision would put Egham in top place, above us, on GD if they won games in hand.
Any of the sides in this league have the ability to beat each other on their day as we have seen - it makes for an intriguing few months ahead !!

All I can say is about b****y time! If that ref in the KL match had any brains he would have blown up for full time, as he could have easily done so, deep into added time. I'll take the point.
As for the Ware decision the ref in that fixture obviously didn't have a grip on the FA Laws regarding a dropped ball and consequently allowing a 'goal' being scored direct from the restart so the match clearly needed replaying.
