Well fingers crossed if it is called off they'll put it back to Saturday, not only will that give the pitch time to recover, but it'll also mean a much higher crowd that's for sure, and if that happens, hopefully St Andrews will be able to put the coaches on again. And yeah they'll do the draw on Monday regardless, I think they have the draw dates scheduled before the competition like the round dates.corby diamond wrote:Hope there aint many people who have booked train tickets in advance
Hope it goes ahead though. I can just see it being played on a Tuesday match. Just out of interest if most of the fixtures are called off will they still do the draw Monday as usual? I would think so but im sure someone can just clarify

The problem is that the pitch is saturated. It is better than last season, but the drainage can't cope with the amount of rain we have had.
Still fingers crossed, although if it is postponed, it will be played on a saturday as cup competitions take precedent over league games 8-)

If it is on, is Dunkley back tomorrow, we could really do with him, last Saturday showed that.

The one on my phone gives rain from 1am - 8am. I think they just make it up half the time.Mat.H wrote:The hourly forecast I just looked at shows dry till 11am

Won't be able to get to this, as I'm working AGAIN :(
Think the last game I saw was Long Buckby!
Hopefully the lads will get a positive result.

I've got one showing some rain during the night followed by more at 8 in morning. Like you say they make it up, though no need to worry as Michael Fish said only light winds.BartonRaz wrote:The one on my phone gives rain from 1am - 8am. Sadly think things are not looking good, but as long as it's moved to next Saturday & it's hopefully played on a dry pitch maybe not a bad thing, other than we have all spent the week looking forward to it, good things come to those who wait.
