I think we may have escaped the worst of the down pour.
I was in Banbury yesterday morning and the road to Northampton was just about passable at lunchtime.
That said, if anyone does venture down the old D&D please don't sneeze it could be the straw and all that.

Well i had to keep up with my favourite left back master Tomlin.........#nobody better...................................#shocking goal to give away in the semi-final......................................#won it on penalties tho!!!!

Well it wasnt hard keeping up with him ;)

We did'nt have as much rain as was expected last night so hopefully the pitch drainage system managed to cope. It will depend on how much the Nene rises with the increase.

A dry day forecast today, which should help. More wet weather expected tomorrow though, which could be troubling. I'm coming from Lichfield, so if it is called off, please do it before 1pm! ;)
