I've always wondered what the owners of those flats alongside the pitch at Grays think of what's happening there. Those that didn't like the upheaval when a game was on, now have the prospect of their view of a football ground being replaced with a view of other houses.

They've moved pretty quickly too - unlike what happened at Feethams which seems to have lain derelict for over five years.

I remember going to Darlington away back in the league, worst game id ever seen :roll: (apart from watching my team), and it was a horrible ground but should be different this time around CANT WAIT :D CMON RUSHDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an awful ground to go to. Just a big empty plastic bowl now. Sadly I never went to Feethams.

Feethams was a lovely ground. I remember for one visit we had our own area on one side of the pitch, opposite the big stand, with a small terrace and a small stand behind it. It was so convenient for the Town too - you could walk from the Station in a few minutes, whereas it's quite a hike to the new ground.
