There was a good 15-20 minute period in the 2nd half when we could not get hold of the ball for love nor money. Fair play to Rugby it eventually paid off for them and had been coming. Not sure about the disallowed goal but didn't look offside from where I was standing. Honestly we should have netted 2 or 3 in the first half and then the game would have been done. Convert more of our chances and we will be ok I'm sure.

I thought we were really unlucky with the “offside” goal. I was virtually in line when the ball was crossed and, looked onside to me. Some you win, some you lose!

What overspend? FA Cup runs, or lack of, are not included in budget. But are a bonus if they ever occur.
I'm afraid Walker(or Webster) are not of same level as Duffy. We need a comparative level of replacement which will not be easy. Hopefully Sandy is already on the case.

For me Duffy looked every bit of 36. Was one player I've really admired over the years, although a really short time for us so not really right to disrespect anyone,but from what I see he wasn't know where near the Duffy of old ,(only judging on short stint with us) So I'm not massively concerned and I've absolutely no doubt the (Gaffa) will have a good replacement.
