Good to progress and give some squad players minutes on the pitch, impressed with Heath every time I see him shame he only gets picked for cup games. He's a clear starter for me every game.

Great to see the 'Pitchero Video' on Twitter with the penalty shoot out.
Unfortunately, the score proved to be a bit of a challenge to follow and was in conflict with the Club's official Twitter feed

Tried to follow it when I got home. Very confusing. Best not to show the action until after all pens taken.Trek wrote:Great to see the 'Pitchero Video' on Twitter with the penalty shoot out.Unfortunately, the score proved to be a bit of a challenge to follow and was in conflict with the Club's official Twitter feed

Happy with that as a team performance, 8 changes for us and only 1 for Spending from Saturday that being Weeks coming in, I know he gets goals but I thought he was pants, could have had 3, never hit the target once and plays with his nose on the floor. Only minor moan was a few to many balls played on the deck through the mud bath that was the middle of the pitch which caused a few dodgy moments with the ball not reaching intended target. Plenty of good match time for players who haven't had much recently and in the main most did well. Presume for next round we are now due an away game and as the draw appears to be done completely based on geographic location guess we can work out where we will be going, any good pubs or Indian's in Grantham.

Probably the most entertaining 0-0 I've witnessed, thanks largely to our new 4-2-4 formation - 5-5 would have been a fairer reflection of the game. Spalding dominated the first half and should have been out of sight, but we dominated the second and should have had it wrapped up long before the penalty shootout. I wouldn't say there were any standout performances, most of the team had decent games though. Ben Ford had by far and away his best game for the club, although Lewis Wilson again looked like a fish out of water.

Some very positive performances last night considering the relative strength of the teams. Ben Ford was superb and if he continues that sort of form then he can be a very decent squad member for the rest of the season. Farrell was outstanding for me especially considering how difficult the conditions were. The only real disappointments were the performances of Wilson and Newman who were both poor Imo. Can't put my finger on what has gone wrong with Wilson as when he first joined he looked like he was going to be a very useful addition
