With the latest scare being publicised about Wordpress Websites, I decided it was time to retire the RDFC1992.com website, especially with the annual fee having risen since I set it up 15 years ago.
I think it served its purpose following the demise of the old club, but apart from notable mentions for Andy Peaks as a manager and Ryan Leonard as a player there's not much activity for those mentioned on there these days.
The content should still be available via the Internet Archive should anybody want to consult it.
Retiring of RDFC1992 Website
Re: Retiring of RDFC1992 Website
I often consulted it for stats and player profiles of the old club so will those still be available and if so how do I access them?

Just put the current web address into search bar at https://web.archive.org/ and it should still give access to the website as it looked at various points in time in the past.
I can still access a website I used to host in the early 2000s on there!

Yes indeed - that's what I use for archived sites. As the site has been so static for several years you can pick any one of the dates available in this archive.@fan89footy wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:11 am Just put the current web address into search bar at https://web.archive.org/ and it should still give access to the website as it looked at various points in time in the past.

The pages are pretty easy to find using the long list in the right hand column. Under the blog dates you find the pages which have seasonal information, followed by the link to the player index, which also summarises their career stats.

That's a real shame, Formic. I used it regularly as a reference point and wasn't bothered so much about the updates / where people are now.
If you have the contents in spreadsheet form somewhere I'd be really grateful if you could send it on.

PM me as it’s part of my early life I would take it on and keep it going, it may not stay a Word press but I would like to keep it out there in the web
