A “no game Saturday” - that’s a bit rubbish at this stage of the season!

I might head over to Hitchin Town and watch them against Peterborough Sports who we play the following Tuesday - what’s everyone else doing?

A good shout had it been at NP, but I don’t fancy a 2 1/2 hour drive each way for that one, I’ll stick with my Hitchin choice!

I still can't understand why P Sports, as home club, diid not want this game on that Saturday. They would have had a bumper crowd... At least 150 from Diamonds.

Michael Gash sat on the bench yesterday until a 15 minute run out at the end and he’s twice the player who started but not fit, Jordon Nicholson has been out since Alvechurch away in December (I think) when he suffered a break and will be back shortly and there are more. Having promised us all during the early part of the season they would win the league or at worst be in a 2 horse race with Coalville I guess the least they can do is try and make the playoffs
A bumper crowd for Sprouts is 250!! Diamonds will still take 100+ on a Tuesday and if they can get the midweek knuckle heads who stand behind and abuse the opponents Management team they will get 250 + which is about all they get on a Saturday. Their support yesterday was abysmal, I’m not exaggerating there were more Peterborough in the dugout than in the stands.

I guess they delayed rearranging the game hoping their form and injuries would improve by now. I thought there was a rule that a new date for postponed games should be rearranged within two weeks.
I wouldn't normally make this game but a 300 mile round trip seems attractive on this occasion.

It’s probably a friendly against their development squad, running scared.

There’s often a delay in fixtures being posted on the SL website. I spoke with the secretary at Sports 3/4 weeks ago, when they appeared to be free according to the SL website, to try to get the match arranged for the 12th and was advised then that they had already arranged to play Hitchin on that date.
