todays games
just a couple of significance, but we will remain top whatever the results:
Ashford v Moneyfields and Beaconsfield v Egham
Could be tough for Moneyfields considering their recent form, but would expect Beaconsfield to see off Egham.
Dunstable are not playing today or Monday so we can add to our lead if we beat Bedford
Mondays games:
Fleet v Hartley Wintney....can improving Fleet take a point off faltering HW?
Hanwell v Hayes.......some decent results for hanwell lately but Hayes won both Xmas games and would hope to get maximum points.
Kempston v Cambridge......which Kempston will turn up? They are capable of taking apoint at least. City have also won both Xmas games so far.
Diamonds are one of only three teams in our division not to have received a red card this season. Thame and Cambridge City being the others.

Re: todays games
I was going to visit Aylesbury to have a look at them as we play the rearrange game in 3 weeks but if anyone has seen the photo posted by them 2 days age with half the pitch under water I guess it’s unlikely to happen, not sure when the pitch inspection is but they are having one today
Did think about going to Ashford to hopefully see more woes for Moneybags but now heading to Hitchin to have a look at our league Cup opponents.
Not much else to choose from though presume a few may go UCL with the likely choices being R&H or The Pagnell v Holbech game.

I’m on may way to Harlow Town v Hendon in the Bostik Premier Division. Expecting to see a certain Michael Corcoran playing for the visitors.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Re: todays games
H/T Beaconsfield lead 2-1 and Moneyfields level 0-0
Marlow next weeks opponents lead Uxbridge 1-0.
Wise choice of Brownie not to go to Aylesbury as match is off. Look forward to his thoughts on Hitchin.

In retrospect probably best not to have gone to Hitchin as they won 6-0!!

Re: todays games
Moneybags actually won 1-0 today as the goal that the Lino said was over the line, it was clear to see from a vantage position just outside Portsmouth clearly wasn’t and the penalty was a soft one so that doesn’t count.
I’m sure like me none of you get pleasure in their present struggles but given the start they had, since that last gasp equaliser in early November we have won 8 from 8 & put K*ttering out of the league Cup, they have won 3 drawn 2 and lost 5 as well as loosing a Cup game.
No need to panic on the Hitchin front they are a decent side but it’s curtainly a winnable game.
