RIP Mat Hollis

Post by Pigman »

I wasn't going to post anything here until the dust had settled, but this is all over Facebook now so thought I would say something here.

This weekend we lost one of our own, Mat Hollis, a fan of both the old and new clubs, lost his fight against cancer and passed away.

Such sad news, I saw Mat when he came to his last Diamonds match a few weeks ago, a proper fighter to the end and a thoroughly nice bloke.

Mat was a Diamond to the core and we have lost one of our football family! My thoughts are with his family and close friends tonight, and of course Mat who we will all sorely miss. RIP mate !!
