Steve Spriggs
I have not seen any pre season games yet, but SS does sound as though he would be a great addition. So what is stopping him signing?
Are we waiting for Peaksy to return from hols? or is SS hoping for a better deal somewhere else?

Re: Steve Spriggs
I believe he lives in Cambridge, so I guess the travelling is probably the reason why he's still undecided. Remember it's not just match days but training twice a week as well, and with the team presumably still training in Northampton it's an extra 15 minutes each way than it is to get to Wellingborough.sussexdiamond wrote:I have not seen any pre season games yet, but SS does sound as though he would be a great addition. Re: Steve Spriggs
The A14 between Cambridge and Huntingdon is an absolute nightmare during rush hour and a pig of a road at other times during the week. Today for example west bound at Fenstanton has been closed since 5am due to serious RTA involving two HGV's. :evil:davealbon wrote:

Re: Steve Spriggs
Decision time. Will he sign after todays game or has he just been wasting everybodies time?

Yes I think it's time for him to choose to sign up for us, even if he can't get to all matches he'd be a great squad player.

Re: Steve Spriggs
Not sure how you would come to the conclusion he may be wasting everybody's time, it may be a case of whether Peaksy wants to sign him. I've seen enough of him to convince myself that he's worth signing but if he doesn't i'm sure the reason's will be the correct onesussexdiamond wrote:Decision time. Re: Steve Spriggs
From what I have read (again I admit I have not seen him play) Peaksy must want him or he would not have persevered for so many games. It may just be that Peaksy was on hols. But it still holds that it is decision timel
