Joe Merill?
Mentioned it on the former players thread, but Joe played for Sileby on Sunday against Cobblers. As did Joel Gyasi, according to the UCL Facebook page.

Re: Joe Merill?
Joe was at the Overstone training day but perhaps he feels threatened by the signing of Ollie Wilkinson who has considerable experience at Step 3 and 4 levels and can play at full back.

Seems playing for a place is thing of the past. They all seem to want a cushy life .

If you play football at this level you do it mostly for the enjoyment of it. So what's the enjoyment of sitting on the bench week in week out? Sense of perspective please!sussexdiamond wrote:Seems playing for a place is thing of the past. They all seem to want a cushy life .
Would you travel to places like Petersfield to sit on a bench for 90 minutes in the cold? If he does go best of luck to him he wants to play week in week out I see no issue with that.
