I think it could appeal to someone who wants to help at the club but would prefer to not get involved on match days. I think its very much a role that can be done in spare moments monitoring feeds via a tool like tweetdeck, but others may have better suggestions for web-based research. I tried setting up an appropriate NewsNow feed, but that doesn't seem easy to tune to all 22 clubs.
