Re: Darren Purse.....
Saw him play for Chesham and on trial at Cobblers last season, he's still a very good player. Built like a brick outhouse as well!
Don't expect him to play however as central defence is probably the strongest area of our team. That said, I think Staines are already relegated (or need to win all of their remaining games to stay in Conference South) so their remaining games are meaningless, which may have had something to do with the timing.

They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Re: Darren Purse.....
I think a few of us have thought that were a bit thin with defensive cover with Parky and Jamal no longer being part of the set up. Gilly could do a job, however he's probably lacking match fitness. Merrill was rubbing his chest in the last 10 minutes so might be a doubt for Tuesday. Confue also might not be fit for Tuesday. Neil King has disappeared off the scene, back problems have been mentioned.
Brad will probably be needed in midfield against Kempston, with a recall for Butt I guess.

Re: Darren Purse.....
I have just read todays NLP and was going to suggest we may want to sign him for next season.
He is currently playing Step 2 with Staines. Yesterday he was named as MOTM in a shock win for them.
Staines are all but relegated. They have 35 points points and are 15 points adrift of third from bottom with 5 games to play.

Re: Darren Purse.....
He was MOTM again on Saturday for Staines. But they are now confirmed as relegated.
Re: Darren Purse.....
That could be a very good educated guess Trek ;)Trek wrote:Will we see Darren make his first appearance for us tomorrow evening?
