Spencer game rearranged for new years day

After the postponement today the match has been rearranged for new years day hopefully 3rd time

Good news that its been rearranged so quickly, and nice that we (weather permitting) will actually get a new years day game, which I was disappointed not to see in the original schedule. Wonder what sort of crowd we'll get at such short notice though, I'd guess 400-450.

Weather forecast is sort of ok, the pitch should get a chance to recover tomorrow and Tuesday's forecast to be clear, though Monday is a problem with heavy rain forecast.

Really hoping this stays on so I can see a game before I go back to Uni. The only game I've seen since Thrapston was our drubbing at Eynesbury :(

River levels are slowly falling and with no rain for the next two days should be back to natural levels by monday so i hope and expect the pitch should be able to cope with some rain on monday

No where near the amount of rain they forecast so hopefully game on!
