I'm sure Richard Bunting would have made a difference had he been fit.

Blimey, thought it would be a few more years before I'd hear that about Rushden! :D

Sorry if I've left some brain cells back at the Woof & Quack, but what's the big deal about Leicester City and their fans?

I admit I've spoken too soon before, but to me the title race really is over. After our victory over them, Spalding have had quite a tough run of games and we needed them to drop more points, and they didn't, and of course we lost the week after as well. I know Sileby after a long run of wins wobbled more than expected towards the end of last season, but Spalding look just that bit more ahead of the pack than Sileby were.

I'd like to have seen more radical reshaping of our formation - a bit like MS did when we pushed for a winner against Cambridge, moving Alfie out wide right to allow Fazel to work alongside Dunks, moving Gearing to the left - or when we went to three at the back in a couple of games. I thought it was agreed back at the London Colney away game that Sean and Brad aren't the best creative midfield pairing, so I'd like to have seen King on as soon as we went 2-0 down.

St. Andrews normally get 50-60 fans for their home league matches so a travelling support of nearer 4 times that figure with a desire to make sure that they were able to watch live coverage of the lunchtime Leeds/Leicester match tells you all you need to know where their true allegiance lies. ;) Be interesting to see what sort of crowd they get in the next round.

I think it will depend on whether Leicester have a home game that day - unless they try to get the game played on a Sunday.

Someone asked what the Radio Diamonds were saying, I was listening in and can say they weren't saying much at all but I could sense they were disheartened :( SS

Of course improvements should be done to the squad between now and next season, but I really don't think its the players as individuals that's the problem, it was the attitude of the team in general that was the problem yesterday and don't forget as already pointed out I think, the teams that beat Cambridge City or Spalding and who've got us into a strong 2nd place in the league are not that different to the team that got beat yesterday, which is why I wish we hadn't got an easy draw now, we would have been far more up for it away at a tough NL side.
