On a different note, thought the Ref was very good, and presume Bunts did as well as didn`t offer his advise many times. All except the obvious ie the way he handled the incident at the end, how one of Snow Whites male companions can run half way across the pitch, then stand there facing the crowd trying to goad them into reacting and not be shown a card and politely asked to do one was unbelievable, and the little matter of the game ending probably 5/6 minutes early, presume both can be put down to lack of ba..s and bottling it, an Officials assessor as well as sandwich & cake eaters from N`ants FA at the game so presume it`s safe to assume nothing will be reported or done. Other than that he controlled the game well and tried to let the players get on with it.
However (guessed you knew this was coming) the clowns running the line, dugout side our Dear old mate Mr Mark Connolly, sure you all remember him as the one who gave Eynesbury a 96th min pen because Ben Morgan stood within a yard of Lee Bassett.
Then the well known K*ttering fan Peter Wilson on the main stand side, a high quality fool if ever the was one, he couldn`t resist smiling when he gave his first two dreadful decisions, which were either the result of total incompetence or he`s a ...... you know the word. Then to cap off the 1st half when he gives his 3rd dreadful decision, as a few polite reminders as for the need for him to be impartial are offered, he puts his hand behind his back and gives anyone looking one finger. As mentioned by a Wisbech supporter after it was alledged a lino at the Wisbech V Thurnby game told the crowd to f off, the respect thing goes both ways, do the job fairly and to the best of your ability and most will accept the odd genuine mistake, but Mr W who was it appeared getting off on giving dreadful decisions and winding the crowd up needs his fortune telling by Dave Albon.

 I think you're just as qualified as I am when it comes to offering officials some constructive advice!

Anyone remember that referee who officiated some of the old clubs games? His name escapes me now, but he really had a chip on his shoulder when it came to us, rarely giving us ANYTHING, was almost as if he was a K*ttering fan!!!

Wasn't at the game on Saturday, but not surprised to hear what Peter Wilson was like. He is just like the majority of K*ttering fans, they wouldn't know what class was if it hit them in the face!!!!

Steven Coffey from Liverpool springs to mind as he almost jeopardised the Diamonds push for league status - http://rdfc1992.com/2001/03/31/rushden- ... igh-rmi-1/

There's a discussion here - http://www.thediamondsforum.co.uk/viewt ... f=2&t=1934

Kettle, Coffey, Friend and Hall are the ones that always stuck in my mind. It's never a good thing if you remember a referee's name, with the exception of the excellent Jarnail Singh.

Mr Singh sticks out in my mind as well! Good ref iirc. Another name that comes to mind is Graham Salisbury from I think our league 1/division 2 year, but I might be wrong on that one.

Remember that like it was yesterday :x

He laughed heartily when not giving a handball late on, when their defender virtually punched the ball.

I did have a mental list of the worst ref performances that we ever dealt with. Leigh at home, Oldham away when we lost 3-2 right at the end, but can't remember the other.
