The "fracas" at the end lasted at least 5 mins, yet the ref blew for time only 33 mins after restart.
It all seemed a deliberate ploy by Holbeach to waste time and break up our momentum.

Sorry Sussexdiamonds, didn't get to hear Radio Diamonds as I was out. Next time. Who does it know, and do we still have the American guy on board? Haven't heard a comment from Dukesy for ages too. SS

Yesterday it worked fine for a little while then stopped. Yes Bruce does it now and then. I listen all of the time, try using tunedin and search for radio diamonds. You'll love the half time noise they call music. I can see you rocking along to it.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

Thanks RH, forever helpful. Used to love Bruce doing the interviews, he looked at the camera more than the person he interviewed. LOL. SS

commentary was fine for me, although I only tuned in at halftime. The music was not to my taste, and why was it necessary to have another musical interlude during the 'fracas' interruption? Next time perhaps a bit of Thai music for supersub's enjoyment.

Bruce is still very much on board. Still wearing his outrageous shirts and jackets!.
We have recently taken on two new members in Ollie and Chris, so others can rotate and do match reports or filming.
If Adam carries on eating all the burgers and cakes then he will get to obese and be unable to waddle to the games let alone train his "kids"!!.
I have been unable to attend matches recently but hope to be back in due course, unless I am deemed redundant!.
Yesterday was my first UCL match of the season and we only draw.....so I must be a jinx.

Thought we played ok yesterday without ever hitting our full potential. Losing ELJ before the game was a massive loss and I think not starting Turner was a mistake too. In these sort of games you have to take the chances and he is the man for that. (I think his record already this year backs that up) For me Fazel still seems to be not on it, not enough with or without the ball. Missed ELJ deliveries from corners, needed that pace and whip on the deliveries instead of the floaty waste of time ones. If we had had our shooting boots on we should have won about 5-2. Shame to not win but at least yesterday showed we have absolutely nothing to fear from Holbeach. We need to address the full back issue as Brown should be playing and a proper right back too. Brad has played great there but was caught out a few times on his positioning (to be expected). Not a bad performance but nowhere near our best.

Any music requests then? In all seriousness we've had the same playlist for a year so I'll update it, Paul wants some jazz but I'm not too sure... :lol:rudolph_hucker wrote:Yesterday it worked fine for a little while then stopped. With regard to the commentary during the 'fracas', with the situation involving stewards coming onto the pitch I made the decision not to continue commentary immediately during the incident, because it might not be appropriate, and mainly because I didn't know how long it was going to take for the 'fracas' to be resolved, and couldn't be arsed to carry on filling time. In hindsight it probably wasn't a great decision, but I felt it was important for the situation to be resolved first before we tried to start giving any view on it.

[quote="Pigman"]I really enjoyed that, great advert for UCL football I thought, definitely 2 points dropped by us though, clear cut chances at both ends, but we had the better ones overall and should have won. Interesting how people see games, I thought Gyasi was brilliant this afternoon, positive when in possession and worked hard to defend when we weren't - he was my mom personally.
We still haven't managed to beat one of the top sides at home though, but missed out by the narrowest of margins today - perhaps we're saving that one for when Huntingdon come along eh? ;)
729 people were well entertained this afternoon and hopefully many of them will be back - including Max and Stephen !!

I think we just need to break our hoodoo against top teams at the D&D and we will be home and dry.
When you look at how we go away and turn teams over, just one victory at home will be the turning point and put teams in fear of coming to us.
Agree with Gyasi, great game.
