Apparently the pitch at Hullbridge is notorious for call-offs, so let's hope for an unlikely dry week.

The 'Weather' app on my phone, which has been known to be very wrong, is currently showing a 60% chance of rain tomorrow but little or nothing else for the rest of the week.

Latest on their pitch

@MatHollis I would suggest it's not looking good. I was at the ground last night and it's very wet and raining here at the moment.

Well hopefully if it is off they can at least call it off a good few hours before the game.

Regarding the post about this match on the Cogenhoe thread, not sure why Hullbridge would suggest if Sat is off we should have to go there as early as Tuesday 25th, given when that happened to them last year against Sholing it was referred to it as a cheep shot to gain an advantage due to player non availability. I presume they must have agreed to a rearranged game that early, and the was no signs of any presidents being set for instant midweek rearranged games, ie the Hanwell V Ashford game was arranged on Original date Sat 18th Jan, then Sat 25th, Sat 1st Feb, Tue 4th, Sat 8th, Tue 11th and was finally played on Thursday 13th Feb. So 3 Sat dates were arranged prior to a Tue coming into the equation and the Thursday was required as next round was on following Sat.

The one I saw this morning had a big band of rain covering the entire South East on Sat, I did speak to Michael Fish and can confirm it will not be windy.

Regarding the comments / speculation about a possible rearranged game that seemed to start on the Cogenhoe thread, the rules are pretty clear

(c) First matches which are Postponed or Abandoned
(i) When a first match has been postponed, or is abandoned before the completion of 90
minutes and neither Club being at fault, it shall be played on the same ground:
in the Qualifying Competition and First, Second and Third Rounds Proper – on or before
the following Thursday. The FA may, in exceptional circumstances, approve the playing
of postponed or abandoned matches on the following Saturday.
in the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds Proper – on or before the following Saturday
(ii) If extra time has not been commenced or a match has been abandoned during extra
time and neither Club being at fault, the result at 90 minutes will stand and the match
shall be replayed on the ground of the Club second drawn:
in the Qualifying Competition and First, Second and Third Rounds Proper – on or before
the following Thursday.
in the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds Proper – on or before the following Saturday
(iii) If the match be drawn or again postponed or abandoned it shall be played as directed
by The FA.
(iv) Matches abandoned through the fault of the Clubs shall be dealt with by the National
Game Board.

Some confusion has obviously occured when people have read about an issue with Hullbridge's Fourth Round game last season.
