The funniest bit was the St Andrews fan slipping over after running on to the pitch to celebrate!!!   Was lucky not to twist his ankle!!
Honest assesments from Starms & Sam.

Second goal was that bad wasn't it, not sure how we ended up 2 against 5 when only one down & almost 40 mins still to play.
A slightly different spin on Pete's ending comment about the Cups this season being remembered for what if's.
Let's try to remember, what if Dunstable had not missed a sitter in extra time, what if Joe hadn't nailed one late on at London Colney. Well we would have been out of both cups at first hurdle. But the above did happen so we had. The demolition of Colney & Cockfosters + throw in Hodderdon. 10 men taking Dunstable apart in the replay. Cambridge, the day out at Dover as one of the last step 5 sides in the FA Cup, Wulfrunians wasn't a bad day out either. So pick something to stay with for this years Cup exploits plenty to choise from to take the edge off Sat. And with prize money & additional gate receipts 20k ish for the Club. Not so bad was it.
And like RH said its Spalding Sat so it's back out up & at em players & supporters alike.
Jim Royal quote season over my arse!!
Starms did seemed proper gutted in his interview and he would have asked for his players for a performance and he didn't get it. That's the most disappointing part of losing as I don't think anybody could have complained to much if they had of played well and still lost. Like already mention on here where was the midfield for the second and you have to put the first down to Tom Cross as in my view that is awful keeping, even a punch would have been suffice but he doesn't even seem to make an attempt to catch it. Much work to be done during their two sessions during the week i'd imagine

I rate Tom as a keeper and he seems like a top bloke but the amount of goals we have conceded through mistakes from crosses etc is quite alarming. He is a good shot stopper but seems to be really struggling when commanding his box.
I was saying the same mate. Seems to be more concerned about what the striker is doing rather than catching the ball. It was his second big game mistake this season. Maybe if he has a problem catching then do the old trick of punching it away.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

3 if you include the howler at Spalding which didn't end up costing us, and the error at London Colney which must have been millimetres from going over the line. That said, there's no such thing as a faultless goalkeeper, certainly not at this level.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
Oh dear the highlights are painful to watch aren't they? Was behind the goal we were attacking both halves, so never had a brilliant view of the gaps, mistakes we made and dreadful misses, but the footage shows them perfectly :(
East Preston cruised through 3-0 against Brantham Athletic yesterday and they top their league. It will be a really tough ask for St Andrews to get anything out of the tie but I expect them to give 110% effort as they did against us.
