Fair play, they're looking to roar St. Andrews through to the next round so we need to be in full voice and support for this one. Bring ya pals!

166 on the coaches and I assume 50/100 in cars as well perhaps? To see 200+ away fans at the D&D is going to be surreal, but I can't wait, maybe we will get 1000Mat.H wrote:They have sold out on the coaches (166 people) and are watching the LCFC game in the cutting room first, I hope we have enough food, programs, etc. Get there early folkes and don't forget it's FA vase so no beer outside of the clubhouse.

I don't think even Cambridge brought that many. If they did they were very subdued.
Could be interesting if both sets of fans want to change ends at half time. The stewards will need to be on the ball.
Lets hope that the game goes ahead on Saturday as a Tuesday game would be quite a let down in atmosphere.
Weather forecast for rest of week is not too bad, Showers, but not too much heavy downpours. Three more days like today would be just perfect.

Not sure what to make of our visitors this Sat, very little on web site and most of what is posted on the forum is praising the mighty Foxes for last weeks win V Derby and planning where they will watch the Leeds game this Sat, if they are that keen may I suggest Elland Rd  as last time it was full was possibly for an FA Cup replay some years ago!!
Presume if Leeds perform some sort of miracle of a "water to wine" proportion, the 200 die hard St Andrews fans may never be seen at the D&D and they will Bendy Bus back up the A6.
That said I hope 250+ as they are claiming do turn up as should make for best atmosphere to date. Though if speaking to any of the travelling "regulars" best play safe and talk about The foxes as I feel starting up a conversation about St Andrews & their team may be met by an embarrassed silence.

Oadby on the 3rd week of Jan, will they not all be out celebrating winning the league? or possibly signing up more has been ex Leicester players after the stuffing they took at Deeping last week.Bob's Bitch wrote:Are we sure they're not just Oadby fans in disguise?

How is the weather Welly way?? not been to bad here for last couple of days just a bit of rain during the night, however it has been hammering it down here for the past 2 hours, hope same not happening over there or Sat could possibly be moving into the doubtful bracket. If the worst did happen does the game just get moved to the following Sat.

I was just thinking the same, the rain we've had this way has been torrential - if it is called off Saturday, I presume the Spalding game will be put in doubt as this will be moved to the 25th won't it??

Re: [ Sat 18th Jan ] vuppose they FA VASE 4R HOME
I suppose they could play Tuesday as that is the scheduled replay date. But it would be much better for everyone if it were played on 25th. The St Andrews supporters could still attend in numbers and we would get a much bigger home crowd.
