No offence to Hendon, but I really would have preferred somewhere we haven't been before
All right, admittedly I think Hendon play at a different ground now, but still would have liked a tie at a new club and with a few more fans to make it a good atmosphere. Mid-table Ryman Premier side though is certainly very winnable however.

Think we owe them one after last time, stuck in traffic got there at 2.28 and Ref said no to delaying ko as it was not past 2.30, and the keeper they had signed on loan that week from Reading?? Pulling of a couple of worldies especially the double save from Jason Turner in 2nd half, not that I'm bitter about the last encounter. That was the start of the end for Joe Henderson wasn't it.
Their new ground at Kingsbury is easier to get to than Earlsmead in Harrow. Bottom of the M1 off at Staples Corner and just a few minutes from there.
From Staples Corner travel north along the A5, towards Edgware, through West Hendon, to the junction with Kingsbury Road (Red Lion public house on corner). Turn into Kingsbury Road and Townsend Lane is the 3rd turning on the left, at the top of the hill. The ground is in the bottom left hand corner of the Silver Jubilee Park.
We owe them one!

I seem to remember we could have on this game the last time round, as mentioned before their keeper pulled off a couple of class saves, and we pressed them pretty hard in the 2nd half! Didn't they score fairly late on in the 2nd half also?
With the improved squad we now have and a 3G surface, which in theory should be better for playing pass and move football (like we did in the first half at Concord), there's no reason we can't go there and get a result!
Not the draw we would have wanted but it could have been a lot worse!
That was also the place that said no to Radio Diamonds because it would affect the gate, but did relent after some pressure.
This will be tougher than Concord and the 3G pitch is something we will have to contend with. Next few training sessions at where the under 21's play?
A shame it is not a new team to visit, but we are capable of a least a draw. Much will depend on Bunting and Oulton being available.
