UCL U21 League

Only 4 members according to the UCL Official site:

Us, Football CV Reds, K*ttering and Mildenhall

Is this viable :unsure:

None of whom are Senior UCL clubs, so the answer is probably no.

Does seem a shame if the UCL League does not function, but I am sure there are other leagues that would be happy to have us, although undoubtedly at a greater cost to the club.

To be honest it was already like that as a result of the earlier withdrawals by the UCL clubs themselves. I may be wrong but there seems to be a preference for reserve team football over U21 football in the UCL, why is that (not a criticism, but more of a question).

We were also informed last Wednesday that home fixtures at Islip would continue to kick off at 11am on Saturday mornings so, perhaps, the lads might get more support now that matches will be played on a grass pitch.

With 9 clubs in each, it might be better merging the two divisions. No doubt some will drop out during the season anyway!
