Northern Premier League 'Transfer Special'...

Post by BartonRaz »

The Northern Premier League posted a 'Summer Transfer Special' on their website earlier today, showing a list of transfers that all Northern Premier League clubs have made so far.

Not entirely sure how accurate this is as one of our transfers is listed as Richard Bunting from Kings Lynn, and the lad from Kirby Muxloe is missing, but it's interesting to look at nonetheless.

I think Kidsgrove Athletic could be a dark horses this season, they've made some interesting signings including Gibraltar international and ex-pro David Artell. They've also taken last year's league top goalscorer Luke Keen from Romulus, I think he used to play for Daventry with Dolman, Confue etc.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

If they had said Rushden & Diamonds FC, fine.It is no different to someone shortening our name to 'Rushden' or 'Diamonds.'

We are both, since as a Phoenix club, we are the continuation of the traditions and the spirit, as recognised by the FA. For me, that never died since it stayed alive through the fans, both those prior to 2011, and have joined since 2011.

The latest version of this list is here http://www.evostikleague.co.uk/summer-t ... eals-32112

It highlights the mass of signings that Rugby Town have made -a dozen in all, although some have been known about for a while, with quite a few of them decent looking players. Jepson must have been promised a massive budget when he went there.

Oh, I thought it was a pre-agreed absence....

His 'debut' will live long in the memory. One of the worst individual performances I can remember seeing.

Is that "our" Jake Wooley? Lavery is the ex-scum and former Barwell captain isn't he?
