I imagine we'll hear about everything all at once when we release an obtained list. Looking forward to seeing who stays, this has potential to be a really exciting year!BartonRaz wrote:I keep logging on here each evening hoping to see some news regarding new signings, or anything at all really. Anybody heard anything? Has the Jake Newman rumour got any legs?
Not overly bothered about Sandy. I'm sure he would have been a useful player for us next season but couldn't figure out quite why K*ttering fans seemed to idolise him. Having said that we didn't get to see much of him.

Re: Jack Bowen
My impression is that the Club are reluctant to announce additions and retentions to last season's squad as until players registrations are accepted as at 1st July unless any players are 'signed on contract' then any commitment that they make at this stage to us on a non-contract basis could be subject on them getting a better offer from another club.BartonRaz wrote:I keep logging on here each evening hoping to see some news regarding new signings, or anything at all really. Wouldn't surprise me about Jake Newman. Perhaps Drury signed Sandy to replace him?

Re: Jack Bowen
I think people are wrongly panicking because of the amount of transfer activity other teams seem to be doing. I'm sure all will become clear after 1st July! Enjoy the Euros and then see who we've picked up/kept!
Regarding the Newman rumour, would take him back, obviously improved immensely since his time with us and has experience in that league.

Ditto, lots being said at other Clubs about who they have signed, until July 1st nobody has signed anyone unless they were already under contract, agree on the Jake front he has a proven record at this level, about the only side he`s never scored against is us and that wasn`t through lack of trying. We can start thinking about our squad when England are on the plane home so I`ll be back on here Monday 20th at 22.00.UttoDiamond wrote:I think people are wrongly panicking because of the amount of transfer activity other teams seem to be doing. Re: Jack Bowen
Not panicking just love transfers haha! Jake Newman has definitely left Stamford, Drury tweeted him wishing him luck. Is it worth having him and Sedge in the same squad - I see them as similar players but don't remember much about Newman apart from the games against Wellingborough last season where he didn't do much.UttoDiamond wrote:I think people are wrongly panicking because of the amount of transfer activity other teams seem to be doing. Re: Jack Bowen
There's no point announcing any signings until 1st July and they can be properly registered. Otherwise you announce them all and, like last season, they change their minds and bugger off somewhere else.
Smart move to keep quiet in my opinion.
