Re: Pre-Season Fixtures
Are Peterborough required to field something resembling a first team in the Maunsell Cup?
The Hednesford game is a good one. They've got a Football League standard ground and have just been relegated from Conference North.

I'm sure there is something in the rule book about "strongest team available". It won't be a Youth Team that's for sure.BartonRaz wrote:Are Peterborough required to field something resembling a first team in the Maunsell Cup?

Personally looking forward to the Hednesford game as it's just down the road. A throwback to the Conference days of the old RDFC and a memorable 3-2 victory on a hot August evening! I remember the steward trying to kick me out for blowing an air hooter - I was only 14!!

Re: Pre-Season Fixtures
I'm assuming part of the ground share agreement is a friendly with Wellingborough every year?

I understand the main reason is to raise money for jointly financed ground improvements.ParcelFace wrote:I'm assuming part of the ground share agreement is a friendly with Wellingborough every year?
