I just dreamt that we drew 0-0 AET to Royston and then lost 4-2 on penalties.

You sure that was a dream and not a nightmare and was it the semi or the final?.

Also, our rendition of Yellow Army was shocking. Hopefully we can create an atmosphere akin to Aldershot and Oxford (my two favourite away day atmopsheres)

Or Dover/Cambridge as more relevant.

Dover was special, that Alfie Taylor goal, Cross - Dunkley - Taylor - Pandemonium. Not least because it was a proper stadium and we got to watch some decent footballers, like Ricky Modeste, who Sam did brilliant at dealing with to be fair. Just a shame Tom Cross ruined that day.

Promotion would be so fantastic - I watched highlights of K*ttering - Bideford and some of the stuff being played at that level was stunning and streaks above what I've seen this season.

Games like today and the play-offs are when you find out why players play the game. Are they just there for the money, not really bothered about the result or are they on that pitch for the glory, the chance to be part of something special, to win, to compete and to come off that field head held high knowing that they did all they could and looking into the eyes of their team mates and seeing the same thing.

These should be the games when you look around at the rest of the team and say to yourself "I will leave nothing on this field today, I will not be the one to let us down"

Come off it, some of those first few goals were outstanding, the turns, finishes and passing were excellent. I know it's hard to admit it when it's K*ttering, but would love to see such talent at the D&D.

I hope Sussex Diamond isn't on commentary this afternoon how depressing is he!!!!

I may be, not sure yet. I would dearly love us to get promotion even if it is to only save us from the clutches of the Northern League.

Usually I pore over the league and form tables for ages looking for a glimmer of hope even in the darkest moments.

I will now make a prediction. Not a dream, Royston to win League, easily the best team and Diamonds to play St Ives in Final!!!!l

Royston it is then. We should take a shed load there, no excuse as it's an easy trip.

They had Ryan Frater sent off today and Erkan Okay went off injured. Presumably neither will be involved. Plus they will have played Tues/Thurs/Sat/Tues which could work in our favour.

We really have no chance whatsoever in the play offs, or of even beating Godalming tomorrow, or of beating Ploppies.

Well one of those is checked off, now for the other 2

Sure my confidence isn't sky high for the playoffs, both away playoffs, injuries, mixed recent form and performances, and our record against the top teams means we certainly won't go into the playoffs as favourites to win them. But who knows in the playoffs, it's all about what happens on the day and could come down to a bit of luck or a mistake like we saw from the Godalming goalie today, we have a chance of winning them for sure. Pleased it's Royston as well, at least from a travel perspective, much easier journey than Egham and should mean we have a big away following, maybe over 600? Looking forward to it
