And yup we did, and I personally haven't criticised one player nor the management :) Dowlos essay was the best thing written on this feed, but at the same time its been nice to see some of the other fans from the RDFC forum days give some tough opinions too. Whatever you say, fans forums are certainly at their best and most entertaining when times get hard, although I feel sometimes people are looking to say something rather than have something to say. We will get through this blip. What's happened is a freak occurance. We have signed players that have won this division before and for some reason it's gone royally tits up. Why that is I don't think is clear cut. The two options are probably no chemistry on the pitch and poor coaching off it. Not sure any of us will truly be able to determine which of those caused this, but hopefully we will still scrape a play off place and find some form just in time. I'm still hopeful.
This is pretty much why there is a lot of frustration, seen as anger in many of the posts. The management brought in new players that they thought would give the team an extra edge to push for the play-off places, at the least, and a good stab at the title. The new players have not had the desired impact and unsettled the style and confidence. This is because we have not had just the odd addition, we have had wholesale changes throughout and it just hasn't worked. Most of us think we would revert to a team that was pushing hard for top spot, but, if we were in the management seat, we would probably think of sticking to what, on paper, is a strong enough team to beat anyone on the day. We will be fortunate to claim a play-off place, however, another season in this league will be beneficial, rather than a struggle at the level above.

Most fans can see what the problem has been and it's centre midfield, no control or link up play coupled by zero attacking support from our two full backs to our wide midfielders. Result is strikers living off scraps and a mere 3 goals in 7 matches.

What do you expect him to say? "We are shite, players don't listen, I've lost the plot, Stevenson would need an oversized banjo to hit a cows arse, Hoban couldn't cross the road, Hall needs a map to go past a defender"

No football manager at any level us going to come out and slag anyone off during a rough spell.
:cheesy: :cheesy: that's quality southrushden made me chuckle

Some managers are willing to say what they think.

Players and management need reminding we've only 4 league games left to play and not 5 or 6!

The main thing is if we play like we did in the first half we're fully capable of winning those 4 games - I truly believe that! The players and management need all the encouragement we can muster to keep their heads up!

Win 3 of the 4 and I still reckon we'll be in the play offs!

There has been a lot of moaning, winching, wining and insults on here. Like calling people stupid etc. which I think is out of order, by won't comment on it.

Let's get back to basis, lets be positive on Saturday and let's put in a big and strong performance and beat Hanwell.
