That's because when it's a loss you say it's down to Brad Harris being a donkey and anyone who knows anything about football jumps in to correct you.

I think the most ridiculous comments to come after losses in recent times were that we had given up on this season, and were planning for next season, despite sitting in the play-offs.

How can the club be planning for next season when all our players, apart from Hoban, are on a non-contract basis? However, our current form (5 losses in the last 7 matches) is more akin to a team at the bottom of the league than a team trying to secure a play off spot. We now need maximum points from our remaining three home games to keep our nose in front of CSP, who won tonight but have played one more game than us and Aylesbury who also lost.TheIncognitoKid wrote:.... planning for the next, after tonight's result?
Irrespective of the league we will be in next season, I expect big changes to the current squad. Some of our players are not up to the mark.

What is the point of hoping out for a play - off spot? So we can get humiliated by Royston et al. Some UCL teams could give us a run for our money at the momentTrek wrote:How can the club be planning for next season when all our players, apart from Hoban, are on a non-contract basis? I understand your sentiments but we must see the season out and endeavour to get as many points as possible although at the moment we hardly deserve a playoff spot.Rushdenjim wrote:

Yes. The play offs are all you can realistically "plan for". To suggest any side would give up on a season whilst sitting there is bizarre.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Still think the team hasn't given up this season and planning for the next, after tonight's result?Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Lol.
