PLAY OFF DATES?

Post by sussexdiamond »

Unfortunately it looks as though the play offs are looming rather than automatic promotion. Does anyone know the scheduled dates for the play off games. My guess would be Thursday 28th April and Monday 2nd May.

Second place gives a massive advantage of two home matches.

If we are to get promotion via the play offs we could conceivably have to win at Egham and Royston twice!!!

See the OWS for the information published by the league prior to the start of the season - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/fixture-news

Although prefer to win league.

If it's the play offs we must make sure we finish 2nd of 3rd, to get home advantage.

Even better to be second as then would be home in the final

Safe to say CSP are unlikely to be involved & officially removed themselves from any title or play off run in last night.

Am I reading that correctly as 7-0?

Yes a big fat 7, I didn`t put anything up when I first saw it at Southern League site has a habit of showing incorrect scores like the 10-2 last week that was in fact 1-2 but now all goal scorers are listed guess it must be correct.
