Metcheck says Friday and Saturday will be dry - whether that will be enough after tomorrow's rain I don't know !!

A couple of dry days might help, but with overnight frosts forecast it may just hold the water near the surface and not allow it to drain away.
I hope we can get the game on but I think it could be touch and go.

Interesting round of fixtures this Saturday. All the top 10 would expect to win or at very least get an away draw.
But it is unlikely to pan out that way.

At Northwood last Saturday the locals were discussing how they'd been fortunate to beat NGU, who appear to have undergone a lot of changes since we played them (and didn't look that impressive against them in the first half). Its certainly a potential banana skin, especially if the pitch proves a leveller like it did against Arlesey.

I actually looked at NGU's results last week, and while they've not been picking up many points, the games they've lost recently have mostly been by a single goal, even against some of the better teams in the league.Formic wrote:At Northwood last Saturday the locals were discussing how they'd been fortunate to beat NGU, who appear to have undergone a lot of changes since we played them (and didn't look that impressive against them in the first half). I expect chances will be few and far between, so we really need to stamp out the profligacy shown in front of goal recently.

Ooh Yes. Game on, really looking forward to the squad announcement and watching Jack Ashton get more minutes. If we go top after today's game, we will stay there and go on to win the league.
