As Rushdenman mentioned, it's the high water table level at the Dog & Duck. The ground will be saturated. It's on a flood plain and the rain that falls has nowhere to go. Where I live, water is draining off adjacent fields at a rate of knots and flowing down the main road to our village.

Saving grace it's giving our injured players a few more days to recover although I'm not confident that Saturday's match will go ahead as more rain is forecast later this week.

It's in a worse state than it was for Wellingboroughs match which was postponed on saturday. We haven't been able to get on it to work on it since after last weeks match on tuesday which ripped it to pieces.

Sorry that I jinxed the match for you all tonight. We will now probably play the match in mid January!

Chalfont v Aylesbury is also postponed.

Not surprised in the slightest - pitch was stuffed up last week and been soaking wet ever since!

Saturday is doubtful I'd think!

Langley are 2-0 down against Bec SOCBRDEHF or whatever it is, not wishing to look to far ahead but it could be a good night for us.
