Only three points separate the top 8. A win by any score on Saturday will put us in 2nd place...unless we score 11 goals and go above Egham on GD!!!

With 3 or 4 games in hand we have a great chance to take top spot soon with so many games (13) between now and Xmas.

One of the suits from Barwell I was speaking to after Tuesday evening seemed confident that we would have no trouble going up - if we can challenge a team like Barwell when we're not playing our best football, with the games in hand, there's no reason we can't go on to be top by Xmas - trying not to get ahead of myself though!

As long as the other teams in the league continue to beat each other then we'll be laughing! It makes a nice change to be in a league where everybody is capable of beating each other rather than suffering the hugely predictable results we used to see in the UCL.

If we won by 11 goals we would only go top if Ware failed to beat Harlow by 23 goals!
