While we've all been focusing on the cup, Beaconsfield beat Aylesbury FC tonight, so we stay in 4th spot without kicking a ball - a good result for us

Fascinating to note how many matches the teams around us have lost.

3 points off top with 3 games in hand. Things are looking extremely promising.
I fancied us to be in and around the play-off at the start of the season, but with things going the way they are, there can be no reason why we can't dream of something more!

100% agree, but it's worth mentioning that in the last two years, the FA cup defeats against Dover and Hendon, the lads have gone onto losing both their following league fixtures.. Peterborough northern star after Dover and Yaxley after Hendon?? If my memory serves me right...

I only hope and praying the boys are focused on tonight, but should their valiant efforts come to an end then they don't lose their concentration at Barton rovers Saturday..

Reading the welling Twitter last night they are confident on tonight and saying either team, us or barwell is a winnable fixture!! Let's roar our club to victory tonight.. COME ON BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ware, who have done well lately, are at home to St. Ives tonight. Both are in the top 7 so more points dropped by one or both of them.

Without sounding rude, I always thought/think we good enough for play offs.

Slipped down to 6th now. With Kings Langley and Chalfont St Peter winning. On better terms St Ives dropped points.

Egham at home on the 7th November will be a big game.

League table after last night's results although an imbalance due to amount of home games we have played. We need to ensure that our away form matches our home form as our 'games in hand' are all away.

Egham lost 1-0 today which is good news.

No-one can string a few wins together it seems! Replicating our home form away from the D&D will be a challenge, but I seriously think this league is there for the taking at this point, to be 4 games, but only 3 points behind the top is a big opportunity. Early days of course and we have to pick that away form up, but I'd be amazed if we don't finish in the top 5 at the very least this season.

Don't forget one of those games in hand is the Kings Langley abandoned match which I fully expect the result to stand - so add 1 point and take away a game in hand.
