Ex Diamonds goal scorers

Post by Brownie »

Not a bad weekend for Ex players getting on the score sheet, Hendo & Aaron for Woodford, Devon for Whitworth, Jake Reynolds - R & H, Alfie - Cogenhoe, Maddox - Desborough, Declan - Wisbech, Fazel - Pagnell, Matt G- Yaxley, Jason T - Kempston and that`s with nothing from the usual bankers at Thrapston as Wizza still suspended, Ben Morgan didn`t play and Hopey was on the bench, sure above list is not complete but I`ll leave it to Formic to find and add any others.

Hopey came on early doors, I was still at the snack bar, although that could have been anytime from kick-off to end of the game.

Dunks is at Newport Pagnell with Faz. He suffered a bad injury in a PSF and looks to be out for a while

Nowhere at present. He signed for Newport Pagnell but was seriously injured in a pre-season friendly when the Swans hammered Daventry Town. Sadly he suffered a tib and fib fracture, dislocated ankle and very bad gash to the head.

Sadly given he's self employed has a young family and is the wrong side of 30 it may be the end for Dunks. Double leg break ankle ligament damage, doubt the head gash would bother him much. Was going to go & watch Pagnell tomorrow to catch up with some of our ex players, however just called in the Club at Oakley & our Under 21s are there tomorrow. Pagnell driving & no beer or Oakley walking and a few pints?? See anyone who's going at Oakley then.

It's a bit of a trek, but I might give it a go - I was going to wash my hair ;)

Challenging for a header, which I`m sure he won, got caught on the head resulting in large gash, lands awkwardly and the opponent lands on him resulting in breaks + ankle damage including ligaments, not good, he`s on the mend apparently but probably a long road. If you look at this site Russ all the best and hopefully see you Faz and Greg before the seasons over.
