Southern League results

Post by sussexdiamond »

Does anyone know a decent website for results from todays games? All I have been able to do is trawl clubs twitter accounts.

Our dear friends in the UCL had their results up by 5.30

Better get used to it. The Southern League website is renowned for taking forever to get results uploaded.

Well it would be nice if there was a similar twitter account to the UCL twitter account with latest scores, but tbf to the SL website, the results were uploaded by half 5 when I got home today, which isn't that bad.

Plenty of 1-1 draws. I know it's early days but I'd be surprised if anyone runs away with this league.

I agree, like I said in another thread, Bedworth were able to lose 13 games and still win promotion last season, I think it's the sort of league where unless we're languishing right down near the bottom, we'll almost certainly still have at least a chance of the playoffs February/March time and it was interesting to see Royston, the supposed joint favourites lose today, as was seeing Arlesley, a team that's just come down from the level above lose 5-0, is that a freak result or are they going to be the whipping boys of the league? Looking forward to getting to know this league a bit more in the coming weeks and what sort of chance we have of doing well this year.
