It was interesting to see how Manor Fields has been transformed into an all-seater stadium (yes really!). The game was pretty even overall, with the hosts bossing things early on before a very young Diamonds side got going, especially in the second half, and had they scored the penalty they were awarded might have been able to defend against the late goal that sealed the game.

According to twitter, a youthful XI reinforced by Gilly, we missed a penalty but succumbed to late second goal so a good effort. Highlight for our Chairman was discovering an umbrella he'd mislaid at Manor Fields a year ago. He apparently said he would leave it there 'for a rainy day'. :D
