Re: When Are The Fixtures Out?
As long as they are more organised than the UCL (which can't be that hard!!!) then I'm happy to wait for the fixtures.

I think it'd be a disaster with where we are right now - it'd be nigh on impossible to segregate it and you'd have every headbanger an moron from Wellingborough, Rushden and K*ttering coming along to cause trouble, it'd cost a small fortune to Police/steward - I'd hate to see it and I think we dodged a bullet with them getting promoted, it's just the kind of potential clash we need to avoid right now!TheIncognitoKid wrote:Be interesting if we drew Plops in the Red Insure cup! ;)

Maybe a neutral venue would be an option, i.e. SixfieldsPigman wrote:I think it'd be a disaster with where we are right now - it'd be nigh on impossible to segregate it and you'd have every headbanger an moron from Wellingborough, Rushden and K*ttering coming along to cause trouble, it'd cost a small fortune to Police/steward - I'd hate to see it and I think we dodged a bullet with them getting promoted, it's just the kind of potential clash we need to avoid right now!TheIncognitoKid wrote:Be interesting if we drew Plops in the Red Insure cup! ;)

I imagine Steel park would be more cost effective if you could segregate it

I've seen segregation at Steel Park - when Corby played Kidderminster in the FA Cup a few years ago.STAGMAN wrote:I imagine Steel park would be more cost effective if you could segregate it
The problem with taking the Red Insure Cup seriously is that you could end up somewhere like Bideford or Tiverton on a Tuesday night. I believe you can actually opt out of the competition, or at least you could in years gone by.
