Re: [ Mon 4th May ] Breakfast Launch for AFC R&D Girls Team
If you can make it down to the Dog & Duck on Monday morning for this game, please do, come and support our "football mums" and have a bacon butty before heading over to the cup final.
Next season will see our first ever girls team entered in to the Northants league, come and celebrate with us!
I heard a rumour on Saturday night that as it's Cup Final day, the Chairman is thinking of buying breakfast for the first 10 people to shake his hand on Monday morning, only a rumour, but you never know. ;-)

A Fantastic morning for the mums to play football.
An 8-1 win for the "mean Girls" over the "Diamond Divas"
An attendance of 137!
We raised £200 for the new U14 girls team.
Thanks to:
Haydn for cooking up the Bacon butties and Chas for eating them
AFC Board for letting the girls use the pitch and opening up.
Andy Peaks for looking after the Diamond Divas
The 2 under 9's running the lines
Last of all the 23 ladies who have trained for the last 5 weeks and then ran their hearts out for 60 minutes in the spring sunshine.
A job well done, see you next year

Fair play to Andy Peaks for getting involved before a cup final. Wonder if PAUL Starmer would have done the same! ;)
