I find it very hard to believe that I was singled out as an unsung hero. In my opinion everyone who volunteers at AFC R&D are all unsung heroes, including the board and let's face it if Ralph hadn't agreed to my suggestion of him becoming the Chairman at the meeting at Raunds Town Football Club who knows where we would have been. I have always thought of us all as being part of the AFC R&D Team whether that be Board, Manager, coaching staff, players of all playing teams, and volunteers who are all striving to ensure that this Club never dies. This award is for you all.
PS. You know I always put your Raffle Tickets in Mr C ;)
Hope to see some of you at the Race Night tonight at Rushden Bowls Club starting at 1945. This will be a really fun evening.
