I said squad player after suggesting we sign Purse to play in the first XI. Personally, I think we would be more solid with Darren Purse, than Jack Ashton, at CB. I don't think anyone on this Forum would disagree with that?

Solid? 8 home goals and 21 away conceded - lowest in the league.

Only seen Purse play once and people saying they thought we were slow at the back when Parky and Dolman played together would come out in droves to say the same about Purse and Dolman.
