Andy Peaks
Can those who criticised him after the defeats at Thurnby and Oadby and the draw at Holbeach please form an orderly queue to apologise.
Re: Andy Peaks
Do I have to join one queue to apologise or for all games or 3 separate ones for each individual game?SouthRushdenJFC wrote:Can those who criticised him after the defeats at Thurnby and Oadby and the draw at Holbeach please form an orderly queue to apologise.
Either way I'll be first in the queue.

Oadby- Not that sorry as we were sh*te but I feel obliged to now he have won the league.
Thurnby- Very sorry. As I was very very very drunk.
Holbeach- Fairly sorry, thought we played pretty poorly, but again we had the last laugh so I will tuck my tail between my legs and apologise
( I had to Google the meaning of contrition as I only know basic broken English and profanities )
Re: Andy Peaks
Diamonds were utterly dreadful at Oadby, both players and management decisions. There's nothing to apologise for there.
I think Peaks has learnt many things this season. Changes he made which impressed me included bringing Gearing back into the side, although arguably weeks later than was due, which has helped out the team no end, and using Lorraine in midfield, which had jumped out as a possibility for a long time, but which I never thought he would try.

Peaksy been different class all season, stuck to a winning team, anybody drops out due to injury unavailability etc the player who comes in and does well keeps thier place,so fair play to him.all season the team spirit has been awesome.his signings before and during the season speak for themselves, always positive and backed his players 100% and they delivered the goods!!

Agree with all of that, although I think putting Lorraine into midfield was borne out of necessity rather than an intentional tactical change!Pete wrote:Diamonds were utterly dreadful at Oadby, both players and management decisions. There's nothing to apologise for there.

Agreed, he made his first appearance in midfield when he came on as a sub at Deeping Rangers in the second half.BartonRaz wrote:

Re: Andy Peaks
When you judge a manager it should be across the whole season, everyone has off days, players, fans and managers.
I cannot criticise Peaksy or any of the back room staff, who have been immense this season.
Stop gripping and start celebrating 8-)
