Re: Player of the Season
The only one? That's a bit harsh, I could think of at least 8 or 9.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:For me, Dolman is the only MUST KEEP for next year.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Re: Player of the Season
Sorry BR, my language wasn't clear.
To clarify, whilst as you say and I agree that we should (and I assume will) keep 8-9, I'd suggest Dolman is the only player who seems irreplaceable.
The best player to ever put on a Diamonds shirt comfortably for me.

Stop digging OD2, L D is without doubt an exceptionally good player at this level, I guess that`s why Peaksy and Co signed him!!, It was stated by Welly`s next manager the squad we have could do very well in step 4, and I think you may find many who would agree with him.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:I'd suggest Dolman is the only player who seems irreplaceable.
Yes we will have to add a few new faces mainly due to the fact we are a bit thin on the ground in some areas. Though that said the Connie, Harris partnership had been exceptional in midfield when Peaksy has been able to play it, but with neither there on Sat our central midfield didn`t exactly look shabby.
Please don`t use the IRR word, nobody is IRR though some may be very hard to replace, in many walks of life not just sport organizations have given people IRR tag and it normally ends up to the detriment of all concerned.
I for one am looking forward to seeing Liam and many more of the currant squad playing and being successful for AFC R&D next season.
