Info from Eynesbury

I've been passed on some important info from Eynesbury regarding our visit on Saturday:

Parking
Parking will be available at Point number 2 on the map above, simply take the exit shaded in red at point 1 and follow it through to park on the tennis courts. There will be stewards there on the day to make sure you’re directed to the correct spot. Obviously this parking will be free of charge.

Admission
The tickets prices for the game are the same as every week. £5 for Adults, £2.50 for Concessions, and U16’s go free if they are accompanied by an adult. There will be two admission points on the day, the main one at Point 3, and the secondary one at point 4. The secondary point is closer to the parking, but may take longer to get into the ground due to its reduced size.

Food & Drink
For the visit of AFC Rushden & Diamonds we have reduced all draft lager to £3 per pint, and all bottled beer will be 2 for £4. In the bar we sell Chocolate and Crisps, as well as a small selection of sweets.
We usually have the Tea Bar open which serves both food and drink, however there is the possibility that we will shut that down for your visit, and instead run a Barbeque to help meet the higher demand.

The bar is open from 12:30 and all pints are £2.50 until 2:30 PM. We have sky sports news on the bar and are hoping to get Reading/Bradford on the big screen

Our tea bar usual serves the following:
Tea, Coffee, Soup, Soft Drinks, Chips, Bacon Rolls, Hot Dogs & Burgers

There is normally a £3.50 meal deal offer containing the following, however the barbeque may change this:

Chips
A Bacon Roll / Hot Dog / Burger
Soft Drink

Clubhouse
This will obviously be open on the day, there is a pool table and two darts boards inside.

To be fair to them Trek, Eynesbury are the sort of Club that would do all the above to ensure everyone is catered for and has a decent day out as well as maximizing the revenue opportunity. Looking forward to taking full advantage of the 2 for £4 deal, hopefully what they are doing will ensure the majority of us go straight to the ground and don`t get side tracked into The Cambridgeshire Hunter.

Some more added info from Eynesbury ahead of our visit;

By Friday night we will all be on an overnight stay with full English thrown in Sat morning, fair play to them you never know this may be the last time we ever play them, make hay while the sun shines & give 300 + of us a good day out.

It's teams like Eynsbury and Potton in our Div 1 days that have really made the UCL a pleasure to be part of! It's the attitude of the few in places like Sileby and Holbeach that make me think we've definitely got to get out of this tin pot league ASAP!!!!

Do you know if the disabled can get from the parking at "2" into the entrance at "4" or is there a long walk to the main entrance at "3"

It will be a bit of a Trek from 4 to 2 across grass, would assume they will keep some disabled parking in ground car park ie entrance 3 as they have the old disused tennis courts (directly above pitch in the photo) If in doubt the is a contact they provided in the first entry on this thread, and the way it`s being done so far can`t see them being anything other than helpful.

It's also worth noting the info in the preview about the A1 / Black Cat closure in the area - which may also have a knock-on effect on traffic coming from the Kimbolton area (and be prepared for some of the most savage speed bumps if you take the old Gt Nth Rd through Eaton Ford / Eaton Socon as an alternative).

A1 Traffic is being diverted along the stretch of the A428 to the South of St Neots (from the Tesco roundabout to the A1 junction), which is a short distance from the ground, so this may be a further issue for traffic after the game, especially those who are being routed to avoid St Neots town centre.
