Graham Drury
Assuming we are still allowed to pass on things from the facebook page that must not be named Graham Drury has resigned as joint manager of Holbeach.
With Pinky & Perky getting canned at PNS on Friday I'm slowly running out of hate figures here.

Re: Graham Drury
Damn - he was their biggest weakness, was rather hoping he'd stick it out and keep doing what he's been doing for the rest of the season. If they organise themselves & instill some genuine discipline throughout the club, I can see them improving.

Re: Graham Drury
This has probably got more to do with them being out of the Vase and the arse dropping out of their budget plans (rumours afoot ;) ) - a few players likely to move on I'd reckon - interesting times, Wisbech could end up as our biggest threat !!

Re: Graham Drury
I presume he phoned in his resignation and didn't drive to the ground to hand deliver it? ;)SouthRushdenJFC wrote:.....Graham Drury has resigned as joint manager of Holbeach.

Re: Graham Drury
And if he's not do those of us living in Bedford have to do shifts down Kimbolton Rd in case the poisoned dwarf & his brat turn up on Barry Frys doorstep. Sure the little s..t will turn up somewhere but hopefully nowhere we will visit, don't suppose we will ever know if he did actually resign or Holbeach suddenly developed a sense of decency and got shot of him.sussexdiamond wrote:He is expecting to be named the new Posh boss.

Interesting piece here by Drury on why he resigned - http://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk/sport/fo ... -1-6603044
Clearly proving the whole Holbeach experiment was/is one big ego trip which has turned sour. Strange that he is also questioning Chand's man-management experience, clearly all is not well at Carter's Park!!

Re: Graham Drury
Jake Duffy leaves Holbeach to join his old manager, Jeff Stocking, at Shepshed Dynamo. What odds on Dube joining them?
Duffy has been very influential for the Tigers this season, scoring vital goals from midfield when needed, despite having a problem with head injuries!
Will Holbeach implode now?

Re: Graham Drury
More local for him I guess. Is that still Step 5?
If Holbeach are slashing the wage bill at this stage of the season with the title still well within reach, just goes to show how far beyond their natural means they were stretching to win the Vase.
We now know Drury was only interested in using their cash to buy a team that could take him to Wembley. Maybe Duffy, like him, doesn't have the stomach for the title fight now it doesn't look easy for them?
