It was a very mild night, no frost. The only question now is do Sileby have the will and the manpower to get the game on.?

No Snow so far. That's good, I hope there do have the manpower to clear it.

I hope the forecast prediction about snow today is wrong, :D (they have been wrong before, or it snows in the evening) :D

Diamonds to beat Sileby, and a Cogenhoe win. :D

Rushden & Higham has been called off, so I can't see this game going on. Not even that bad in Rushden!

Shame, doesn't look like they had a great of volunteers to help with the pitch, as many other clubs are working on the surface until an 11am inspection.

Holbeach v Cogenhoe is on

Never expected it to be on after seeing the amount of snow that fell on Thursday onto a frozen surface. Sileby have now lost 3 home matches to the weather in the month.

Yes they appear to have been very busy at Carter's Park today. Working on the pitch, pumping up spare footballs ready for taking to the dug out this afternoon.
There will be no time wasting tactics against the Cooks and no head injuries sustained by their defenders. ;)

A shame that the game is off, but, me and my brother are off to Holbeach for the 2nd week running.
It will be interesting to see how they behave or misbehave against other teams.
Come on ALFIE. ;)

I'm not too optimistic about Cogenhoe getting anything, they seem to have been on a downward spiral since we drew at their place

Two seasons running they've treated their home match against us as their 'Cup Final' and then have nothing left to offer against other teams.
