Shambolic performance against a team that shipped 6 at home to PNS last week.

No apparent game plan, massive gaps in midfield, an attack that simply couldn't hold the ball.up. No urgency. It was farcical from start to finish.

Need to get Dunks fit quick, bang 10+ goals in the next 2 games and get our arses in gear before the Holbeach game which is now an absolutely non-negotiable must win.

Butt should have been at right back and Brad in midfield. Rogers must have wondered what he had joined. A wake up call to management and players today.
I'd agree with that. I'd have been tempted to start with the team that beat the Doughboys then introduce the new guys once they've had a chance to watch the style / strengths of our performance. Perhaps the flak they took after not bringing back Jack Ashton against Thurnby influenced the decision.

Brad's been fine at right back so far and I thought was the right choice today. Fact is we did NOTHING going forward and up front today and that is our current problem. It is because nothing is happening in that area it is knocking on back through the rest of the team. Put Faz up front again.

I don't want peaksy screaming at players but the only time he says anything is moaning at the ref and linesman. There's no advice, encouragement to the players at all which I've never seen from a manager ever.

Awful performance - no tempo, slow to respond to the 2nd ball, no desire to win !! Disappointed beyond belief, we're gifting Holbeach the title if we carry on like that. We know we're better than that, now time to step up and prove it !! I'm pissed off beyond belief tonight, the more I think about it, the more pissed off I become! So we go to Holbeach and win, it'll mean nowt if we play like that in other games. Tuesday will show if this team has what it takes - time to show some backbone!!!

I can't be bothered to say anymore, they just didn't turn up today and that is the biggest disappointment of all !!

I spoke to Peaksy after the game and anyone who doesn't think he cares is a fool - he's hurting tonight, along with us!!

After watching Wellingborough on New Years Day I felt how I did last year about David Moyes' influence at Man United. Boring, average, dull, football. It was a great shame for what might be my last ever R&D home match ever.

Let's hope these new signings bed in soon and the performances and results pick up, else I hope the members site might have a big debate to have.

I agree because the three strikers today didn't look like scoring. I understand Fazel was 'rested' this afternoon.
I wondered whether the players were focused on the game when I saw them all arriving at the ground with a golf club under their arm.

I'd play Gearing, Lorraine, Koriya and Rogers on Tuesday.

There's probably a case for playing a completely different side on Teusday. If players aren't going to bust a gut for the shirt they shouldn't be in it.

The one player that did seem to care was Jack Ashton when with 15 minutes to go he shouted 'This is f****** w***' to his team mates.
I'm sure all of us who heard that fully agreed with him!

It has to be the strongest line up and if all fit its Rogers, dunks, Turner and ELJ. That has been proven over the season.
