The Romany Pub, Northampton

Post by Mat.H »

Could someone enlighten me as to the tie up with the Romany pub in Northampton, I drove past this morning and they have a sign outside saying they are the official drinking whole of AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

I almost posted something similar a couple of weeks ago. I passed the pub with some Cobblers supporting friends and they were very confused considering it's in the heart of Northampton.

Good though! They're obviously proud to be on board with us and display it prominently on their website too.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Is that the sign that also has the Heathens Rugby Club on it? It's been discussed on here before and the assumption was that it was connected with with the MAA tie up as it was also on Trinity Avenue.

no it's quite a good pub! Glad to see your self-imposed teetotalism hasn't affected your place in the grammar police, Lee.

Surely NO should start with a capital N.
I'm in no grammar police at all. Just querying the word whole, I was always under the impression it was " drinking hole" I'm up for being corrected if I'm wrong.

I'm guessing that since you've seen my thread regarding being dry for charity I can put you down for sponsorship???????
