[ Tue Dec 2nd ] v Eynesbury Rovers, KO 7:45pm UCLP HOME
Re: [ Tue Dec 2nd ] v Eynesbury Rovers, KO 7:45pm UCLP HOME
Job done, we made a sluggish start but two good finishes from Lorraine (his second was a wonderful goal, great through ball from Ashton and a strong finish from Tom) put us in control and it was good to see all the lads focusing on keeping a clean sheet as the second half wore on. Only worry is Dolman went off injured - we need him for Saturday.

We certainly will need Dolman as I think Ashton (5 yellows) and Harris are suspended.paulg wrote:Job done, we made a sluggish start but two good finishes from Lorraine (his second was a wonderful goal, great through ball from Ashton and a strong finish from Tom) put us in control and it was good to see all the lads focusing on keeping a clean sheet as the second half wore on. Parky can replace Ashton and we have several to replace Harris. (Bunting, if fit,Harmon and McInally)
But who would replace Dolman? Maybe re call for Jamal Clarke.

Ashton isn't suspended until the following game - they kick in a fortnight after the "offence"sussexdiamond wrote:We certainly will need Dolman as I think Ashton (5 yellows) and Harris are suspended.paulg wrote:Job done, we made a sluggish start but two good finishes from Lorraine (his second was a wonderful goal, great through ball from Ashton and a strong finish from Tom) put us in control and it was good to see all the lads focusing on keeping a clean sheet as the second half wore on. Last night to me was a clear sign of a good team, workmanlike professional job done on a potential banana skin team. First 10 mins possession 25-75 shots 0-4 on target 1-0 score 1-0. A young fit side who came flying out the blocks but never caused us any major problems, in fast by coming at us mob handed with no real cutting edge or clinical final ball they played into our hands by leaving half a football pitch empty behind them, and didn`t Tom exploit it well. Can only remember one save Finners had to make and one blocked effort from Lee B, so all in all not our best performance ever but a comfortable 3-0 win in a game that in the past would have been a 2-1 or worse. Hopefully nothing serious with Liam and he`s back for Sat.

Not a classic but another 3 points in the bag. That's pretty much all there is to say.
Oh and if their number 2 happens to read this forum (doubt it) , yes I pay £6 to come and watch "this sh*t" every week, but the £4 change goes on using the "services" your mother offers. She's a real bargain!

Hopefully fine. As far as I know Liam came off because he lost his voice totally and couldn't speak, which maybe the other defenders were happy about ;-)Brownie wrote:Hopefully nothing serious with Liam and he`s back for Sat.
