NPL Division One South, for those interested.

Corby now also in the Northern League Premier. I trust we'll still go SLP one day!

What a wonderful meaningful sentiment filled interview, of all the reasons why players have left Spending Utd he forgot to mention just one. Pi ed off with playing for the biggest c ck in non league management. Love the way he almost moaned that Holbeach have the nerve to spend as much as him. I'm sure as a league we will all miss him greatly.

Patchy start for the Tulips, just 3 points from 3 games. Crowds of 121 and 149 for their two home games.

2 defeats from their first 3 is nothing short of abysmal considering their budget. Pat has some explaining to do there. I know a lot of their players left to stay in the UCL but they drafted in plenty of very good replacements that were supposed to set them up for back-to-back promotions.

Rayment was already writing off most of those players who decided to leave as not being good enough for Step 4 after they suffered those defeats in April once the title had been secured. It makes you wonder whether the likes of Beeson and a few others who have decided to remain in the UCL are, in fact, better than the Tulips' close season signings.

Just a point for the Tulips this afternoon at Carlton Town. So just 4 points from the first 4 games.

I'm not obsessed with Spalding ;) , unlike the UCL Fan Zone who always retweet all and everything as if they're expecting them to quickly return to the UCL but Pat Rayment has once again thrown his teddy out of the pram and questioning his players commitment after their home FA Trophy defeat last evening.
Also complaining about the state of their pitch as well.

Interesting post from a Tulips follower on Non-League Matters Forum:-

"SPALDING UNITED are getting a wee bit concerned about their status in level 4 as the council who administer their ground are refusing to give them the lease they require to satisfy ground grading rules."
